Vietnam veterans Cody and Nick turned California beach bum to start a detective agency that relies heavily on Cody's ship, the Rapids. They are joined by another old friend, the evil electronic genius "Boz" Bozinski. Her investigation occasionally involves Nick's aging but dependable helicopter, screaming Mimi.
