MacGyver works with an elite group at the Phoenix Foundation, tackling global crises and personal challenges with his quick thinking and scientific expertise. The series updates the character’s backstory and technology while maintaining the spirit of the original. The reboot ran for five seasons, ending on April 30, 2021, and brought fresh excitement to the franchise for modern audiences.
