Blue Thunder Replicars
Blue Thunder is a thrilling crime drama that draws inspiration from the 1983 movie of the same name. It tells the story of a cutting-edge police helicopter program that’s set to take on crime in the skies above a big American city.
The main character is Officer Frank Chaney, played by James Farentino, a talented pilot who’s been tasked with flying the super-advanced Blue Thunder helicopter. He teams up with his partner, Clinton ‘JAFO’ Wonderlove, and together they patrol the city from above, using the helicopter’s amazing surveillance gear, speed and firepower to catch baddies and help the police out on the ground.
Every episode is packed with exciting aerial chases, heart-stopping rescues, and high-pressure missions as the team uses the latest aviation tech to keep crime at bay. The show really captured the techy excitement of the 1980s and gave us heaps of action both up in the sky and on the streets.
